Jeffery M. Fenster

A bi-lingual, third generation Floridian, Jeffrey Fenster is a preeminent Florida Trial Lawyer specializing in personal injury litigation, including catastrophic automobile negligence claims, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, premises liability and wrongful death.  For over 30 years, Mr. Fenster has successfully negotiated and tried multiple million dollar claims for victims of accidental injuries.  As part of his practice, Mr. Fenster has been actively involved in the fight in both the Florida Courts and the Florida legislature to protect the rights of victims against adverse changes in the law. 

Mr. Fenster is a pioneer in the area of nursing home and assisted living facility litigation.  He is one of the state’s most experienced trial attorneys in this field, and one of a few select to argue such a case before the Florida Supreme Court.

Mr. Fenster has been very active in promoting the rights of the wrongfully injured, by holding professional memberships in several prestigious professional organizations including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.  He has served as the President of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association and Vice Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee.  He has also served as Dean of the People’s law School at Broward Community College, which strives to educate consumers on their legal rights.

Mr. Fenster brings a depth of experience, and a desire to impact knowledge upon consumers and peers alike.  He has successfully litigated some of the nation’s most challenging personal injury cases, and has received an “A.V” rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Stacie L. Cohen

Stacie L. Cohen practices in the area of personal injury law, medical malpractice litigation and nursing home abuse.  Ms. Cohen has more than 20 years of experience in personal injury litigation throughout the state of Florida.  Additionally, Ms. Cohen is “A.V.” rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating awarded by that publication.  Martindale-Hubbell ratings are determined by the confidential opinions of other lawyers. 

Born in Miami Beach, Florida, Ms. Cohen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from Nova Southeastern University.  Ms. Cohen is admitted to the Florida Bar and to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Beyond litigation, Ms. Cohen has drafted legislation on behalf of individuals to promote victim’s rights and as an active member of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers now known as the Florida Justice Association.  In addition to the membership, Ms. Cohen has served on the insurance task force for the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers in an effort to draft laws designed to protect Florida’s consumers.
